To be an effective member of the Glen Rock Borough Council, I believe that an individual must both govern intelligently and serve as a representative of all the residents of the community. Voters should have confidence that the candidates they choose can handle those responsibilities well and consistently.
Year after year, over and over, in small projects and in large organizations, Eileen Hillock and Michelle Torpey have already contributed to improving the borough. They have shown commendable energy, initiative and imagination in their service to the borough. They are well-prepared to govern effectively and to represent all of us as members of our Borough Council. I strongly believe that, as members of the Council, they will make productive contributions that will benefit both long term and brand new residents. They know the people they will represent on the Council. To me, that’s important and that’s why I support their candidacy.
