The Arts Council of Glen Rock(ACGR) has done it again. They have brought vivid colors through flowers to downtown Glen Rock. The program is called Rock Road in Bloom This event is organized by Stacey Gilmartin, Libby Deely & Michele Keller. They are ACGR Board members that make up the window painting committee.
12 stores are participating in this event by having their front windows bloom with flowers. These storefronts are:
Beekman Wines & Liquor
Rock ‘n Grill
Invision Optics
Old GR Medical pharmacy
Alpha Fit
Sweetberry Bowls
The Grow-Cery (Sat 5/13)
Rock Ridge Pharmacy (to be finished 5/13)
Glitz on the Floor (to be finished 5/13)
2 unoccupied properties at 175 Rock Rd: Old Shades of Soho and the old Safer Cleaners.
The window magic is being painted by 22+ artists that include 2 GRHS Arts Honor students, Hannah Yang & Anthony Zapotosky, and scouts from Daisy Troop 98399 & Junior Troop #97097.
