In anticipation of the impending blizzard, the Board of Education has closed the schools for Tuesday and the borough has closed Borough Hall and all offices Tuesday and canceled garbage pickups scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Forecasters are predicting a snowfall of 12 to 20 inches in the Northern New Jersey area.
In addition the borough recycling center and the Glen Rock Public Library will be closed on Tuesday.
