Mayor Bruce Packer has announced that he will be holding a Press Conference on 3/26/2016 at 10:00am. The press conference will introduce the new “Meet the Mayor” program. This program will be held at a different business every Saturday morning. It will not only give residents an opportunity to talk to Mayor Packer about anything on their minds , but also an opportunity to get to know different businesses in town.

The Mayor wishes to thank the following businesses that have signed up to participate thus far:

Shades of Soho, Prominent Tickets, Mathnasium, Gary Stevens TaekwonDo, Smoothie King, Veterinary Wellness Center, Mail and More Business Center, and The Curious Reader.

In addition, the Mayor would like to thank the following group of businesses that, along with the aforementioned businesses, have agreed to partner with the Mayor to continue creating new and exciting ways to further revitalize our business districts: Rock Road Pictures LLC, Banana Tree News, Rock Valley, LLC, Dance With Me Glen Rock, Carrick Mor, Bergen IT LLC.

Many additional businesses have reached out and expressed and interest in assisting as well. This list will continue to grow and include the businesses on Broad St, Maple Ave, Harristown Rd and Prospect St.

The first ‘Meet the Mayor’ day will be on Saturday, April 2nd at 10am at Prominent Tickets. A full schedule will be available on the Borough website (www.glenrocknj.net) and the Mayor’s website (www.glenrockmayor.org) and will be advertised each week on the Electronic Sign near Boro Hall and it will be offered to all local media outlets for publishing.
