GRFD and Fair Lawn FD responded to a scene of a car into the plate glass window of Francesca’s Pizzeria downtown Glen Rock. Around 1pm an elder driver ran into the plate glass window at Francesca’s Pizzeria downtown Glen Rock.
As this happened, a pedestrian got nipped by the front of the car as it crossed over the sidewalk. Valley Hospital Paramedics also responded. The pedestrian only received minor injuries. The driver also refused care. There were no injuries inside Francesca’s.
Because of the broken brick and the shattered window, the Glen Rock Building inspector deemed that the building was unsafe to continue business at this time.
We are unsure of the cause of this crash at this time – but will keep you updated.
The sidewalk in front of Francescas has been roped off for pedestrian safety.
