PO Adam Pytek was busy on Tuesday, June 27th with storm-related incidents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Glen Rock PD and GRFD started a busy day with a motorist stranded in a flooded area of Maple Ave under the train tressel. This area was flooded due to the heavy rains over the past day. PO Adam Pytak, SPO James Harte, and Firefighter Jennings helped remove the motorist that was stuck in the flooded area. Per GRFD Chief Jennings, “Both James Harte and Ryan Jennings were driving down Maple Ave and both had noticed a car in the water with an occupant still inside the car, with the quick thinking of both they went into the water to help remove the victim from the car. As they entered the water, PO Officer Adam Pyatak pulled up and went into the water to also assist with removing the victim and bringing her safely back to dry land\u2014great job to P.O. Pyatak SPO Harte and Firefighter Jennings on your quick thinking.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that rescue, a Honda Pilot crashed into a utility pole on Lincoln Ave, snapping it in half. The driver was transported by ambulance to St. Joes with a leg injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
