{"id":19815,"date":"2022-11-21T15:09:33","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T15:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bananatreenews.today\/?p=19815"},"modified":"2022-11-21T15:09:34","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T15:09:34","slug":"gr-police-blotter-nov-14th-nov-20th-20222","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bananatreenews.today\/2022\/11\/21\/gr-police-blotter-nov-14th-nov-20th-20222\/","title":{"rendered":"GR Police Blotter Nov. 14th &#8211; Nov. 20th, 20222"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>During the period between November 14, 2022, through November 20, 2022, members of the GRPD\u00a0handled 308 calls for service, the highlights of which included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11-18-2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11:16 AM \u2013 A Glen Rock resident reported a fraudulent transaction on their Wayfair account.&nbsp; Merchandise had been ordered for shipment to an individual in Cheyenne, WY.&nbsp; The complainant was able to stop the order and has notified their credit card company. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11-18-2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3:09 PM \u2013 Patrols were dispatched to what was initially reported as a stolen vehicle from a business on the 400 block of Broad Street.\u00a0 An investigation found that a similar vehicle was also being serviced by the business and was inadvertently picked up by a third party who had been contracted to transport the vehicle.\u00a0 The vehicle was subsequently returned in good condition, and it was determined that there was no criminal intent.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11-19-2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5:52 PM \u2013 Patrols, along with Glen Rock Firefighters, were dispatched to a reported smoke condition inside a home on Pamrapo Court West.\u00a0 Upon arrival, it was determined that a clothes dryer had malfunctioned, possibly due to a motor burning out.
