*We have received reports of a similar nature in recent weeks where suspects attempt to extort money from victims using this scam tactic and send a Google Maps photo of the victim’s home to instill fear in the victim. Residents should be cognizant of these scams and never send money, Bitcoin, or any other forms of currency to people they do not know. *
