Town Wide Menorah lighting celebrates 5 years

204

Glen Rock will once again host a community Hanukkah Menorah, now a widely anticipated yearly tradition. Located on private property outside of Kilroy’s Wonder Market, 288 Rock Road, Glen Rock, Jewish residents will light the Menorah each of the eight nights of Hanukkah from November 28 to December 6, 2021.

On Monday, November 29, at 5 pm, the second night of Hanukkah, the community is invited to a special candle-lighting celebration hosted by the Jewish Families of Glen Rock, a private group of residents; the Chabad Jewish Center of Northwest Bergen County; and the Glen Rock Jewish Center.  Planned by dedicated volunteers and local Jewish community leaders, the event will include singing, holiday food, and activities for children.
