Due to the new COVID state restrictions, the annual tree lighting became a virtual event. The lighting occurs on the first Saturday of December at the tree shared by Maple Rock Exxon and Kilroys Wondermarket.
This year the Glen Rock Home for the Holiday committee made this year’s lighting one of the best, per a resident. They did not just have the lighting with just the committee there but with the lighting marshalls Alex, of Maple Rock Exxon, and Jan Kilroy, owner of Kilroys. In addition, Josh Gottheimer and Glen Rocks Mayor and council visited the lighting.
The Committee, with help from GRTV’s own Ed Hayward, also posted a video highlighting the year that the tree lighting came back and historic photos of Glen Rocks Christmases and winters in the past. You can view the video below.
