10:37 PM – A Glen Rock woman reported that her TD Bank account had been compromised. She discovered this when she attempted to use her debit card and it was declined. A follow-up with the bank determined that an unknown party had switched the name and address on the account. It was further discovered that $ 2,000 in rewards dollars had been accessed. The bank is following up on the matter and will credit her account accordingly. The detective bureau is reviewing the matter.

11:00 AM – A Glen Rock woman reported discovering that her cellphone had been compromised and immediately contacted her bank. The Bank of America checked her account and discovered that a total of $13,000 had been withdrawn from her account via transactions in Maryland. Both Verizon and the Bank of America have resolved the issue in her favor. The detective bureau is reviewing this matter along with several other incidents where residents’ bank accounts have been compromised by hackers who ported their cellphones in order to gain access to their bank accounts.

4:48 AM – Patrols were dispatched to a 9-1-1 report of a disoriented male in the parking lot of the Sikh Temple on Prospect Street. Upon arrival they located a 59-year-old Paterson man in a highly intoxicated and disoriented state with minor injuries and blood covering his shirt. The man did not know how he got to the Temple and stated he was just trying to get home.
The subject was unable to care for himself and was transported by ambulance to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox.
