I want to thank the residents of Glen Rock for giving me the opportunity to serve for the past four years. It has been an incredible experience and I am humbled to now be among the many leaders who have taken our town from its infancy about 125 years ago to the wonderful place that we are today. I so appreciate our many volunteers, including those in the Fire Department and Ambulance Corps, and members of our many essential, local volunteer groups. I offer my gratitude to the Glen Rock Police Department for not only keeping us safe but for always going above and beyond in serving and getting to know our residents. I thank the DPW for keeping our streets safe, providing first-class pick-up service to residents and for keeping the town clean.
It has been an honor to not only preside over meetings but to get to know so many of you, play basketball, wrestle, throw out first pitches, march in parades, perform with the incredible Glen Rock Pops, officiate marriages, hand out Community Meals, raise money for various causes, honor Gold Award Girl Scouts, Eagle Scouts and so many other proclamation recipients, meet and promote local businessowners, speak at various houses of worship, serve with incredible council members and so much more.
I am proud of what we have accomplished in only four years and I wish the 2020 Mayor and Council all the best. Best of everything to all of you in the New Year!
