9:53 AM – A Glen Rock man reported receiving a statement concerning a $283.79 charge from Paypal. The complainant reported that he has no such account and has never used Paypal. A company representative requested that the man file a police report while they rectify all charges. The detective bureau is currently reviewing the matter.

4:55 PM – During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Avenue in the area of Kenmore Place, Sgt. Mike Trover arrested a 59-year-old and a 56-year-old woman, both of Wyckoff, on drug related charges.
The man, who was a rear seat passenger, was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, specifically a crack pipe. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants issued by the Paterson Municipal Court totaling $ 1,750 in bail. The man was transported to Police HQ where he was processed and then turned over to the custody of the Paterson Police Department.
The woman, who was the front seat passenger, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically a crack pipe. She was transported to Police HQ where she was processed and released on her own recognizance pending an appearance in Glen Rock Municipal Court.
The driver of the vehicle, a 56-year-old Wyckoff man, was issued a traffic summons for failure to maintain brake lights.

1:46 PM – A Dunham Place resident reported that two packages delivered to her doorstep, valued at a total of $175, had been stolen. It was confirmed by a FedEx driver that he delivered a package at 11:38 AM, at which time he also observed an Amazon package at her doorstep. When the resident returned home at 12:20 PM both packages were missing.

2:33 PM – A Glen Rock man reported two authorized transactions on his Verizon account. According to Verizon these transactions occurred at their Paramus location. Both transactions have been voided and Verizon is following up with their personnel in Paramus.

6:00 PM – A 36-year-old Jersey City man was detained by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department on a criminal warrant issued by the Glen Rock Municipal Court. The subject had failed to answer to shoplifting charges which were filed in 2017. The man was taken into custody by P.O. Adam Pyatak and P.O. Nick Onove who transported him to the Bergen County Jail.

5:04 PM – Patrols and EMS were dispatched to a Glen Rock residence to investigate a report of an unresponsive woman. Lt. Chris Mc Inerney and Sgt. Scott Mc Govern found the woman unconscious and unresponsive and located two empty heroin folds in the immediate proximity. They began lifesaving operations and subsequently administered one dose of Narcan. Valley Hospital Paramedics and EMTs from the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded and continued with on scene medical aid. The victim, a 23-year-old Glen Rock woman was subsequently transported by EMS to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
A recovery specialist from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Heroin Addiction Recovery Team was dispatched to follow up with the victim at Valley Hospital.

4:25 PM – A Glen Rock woman reported receiving a TJ Maxx Mastercard and a statement in the mail. She had never applied for this card and found that there was a $ 1,378.66 balance due. Upon contacting customer service, she learned that the charges were from a temporary card issued following an in-store credit application. The actual credit card received in the mail had not been activated.
The credit card company has since closed the account and informed the complainant that she would not be responsible for the balance due. They are conducting an internal investigation and the matter is also being reviewed by the Detective Bureau.
