Flames completely engulfed a van used to transport school children just moments after all of the children and their driver had been safely evacuated to a nearby strip mall on Thursday afternoon, 01/24.
The raging fire was extinguished by members of Fair Lawn FD Fire Companies 2 & 4. Fair Lawn Heavy Rescue, Bergen County Hazmat,
Glen Rock PD, Glen Rock FD, and Fair Lawn FD also responded to the incident which was located in the parking lot of an office building at 266 Harristown Road, Glen Rock.
