5:47 PM – During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Avenue, P.O. T.J. Graziani arrested a 37-year-old Florida NY man for possession of two bricks of heroin (approximately 100 bags), a zip-lock baggie containing cocaine as well as a small amount of marijuana. Also found in the driver’s possession were numerous glassine bags and a small wooden box all containing suspected narcotics residue
The man was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance pending an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack on December 7th.
He was also issued traffic summonses for driving with a suspended license, failure to signal turn, failure to maintain lamps, violation of non-resident touring privileges, and operation of a motor vehicle while in possession of narcotics.

6:40 PM – As a result of an investigation conducted in cooperation with the Montvale Police Department, Det. Lucas Doney arrested a 41-year-old Glen Rock woman for forgery and theft by deception. The investigation, initially begun by Montvale Detectives, determined that the woman had received a check in the amount of $ 1,250 payable to both herself and her ex-husband, now a Montvale resident. She subsequently forged his name and cashed the check without his knowledge and failed to provide him with his share of the funds. The act occurred in Glen Rock during 2015 but was only recently discovered.
The woman was processed and released on her own recognizance pending an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack on December 7th.

4:29 AM – During the course of investigating a motor vehicle accident at the Harristown Road off ramp from Route 208 North, P.O. John Tarantino arrested a 31-year-old Hawthorne woman for DWI. Investigation determined that the woman had failed to maintain her lane while exiting the highway and struck a utility pole on Harristown Road.
She was transported to Police HQ where she was processed and charged with DWI. She was also issued summonses for reckless driving and unsafe lane change.
The driver was released to the custody of a sober adult and her vehicle was impounded in accordance with the provision of John’s Law.

9:54 AM – A Glen Rock man reported that a check he mailed had been stolen and fraudulently cashed. The check, in the amount of $3,101.56, had been mailed from the US Postal collection box located in front of the post office on Glen Avenue on November 11th. This matter has been referred to US Postal Inspectors.
12:01 PM – A second Glen Rock man reported that three checks he mailed had been stolen and fraudulently cashed. The checks, totaling 897.17, had been mailed from the US Postal collection box located in front of the post office on Glen Avenue on November 11th. This matter has also been referred to US Postal Inspectors.
The US Postal Inspection Service is currently investigating thefts from the postal collection box in question. Anyone who may have mailed letters from this location between November 11th and 12th is asked to confirm if their letters arrived at their intended location. Any suspected mail thefts should be reported US Postal Inspection Service at (973) 693-5450.

4:38 PM – A Glen Rock man reported receiving a notice that that his property tax payment check in the amount of $ 3,348 had not been received by the Glen Rock Tax Collector’s Office. After contacting his bank, he learned that the check had been stolen and cashed by an unknown third party.
The man reported that he had mailed the check from the US Postal collection box in front of the Fair Lawn Post Office on Abbot Road on either November 2nd or 3rd. This matter has been referred to US Postal Inspectors.
