2:31 PM – The manager of the Krauszer’s Food Store on Prospect Street reported that an unknown male party made a purchase using a counterfeit $10 bill. The matter has been referred to the detective bureau of the US Secret Service.

8:27 PM – A Glen Rock man reported that an unknown person had attempted to open a Best Buy credit account in his name. The company has been notified and the account was frozen.

11:50 AM – The manager of Bottle King on Prospect Street reported the theft of $635 worth of cigars. The thefts had occurred over a protracted period and is believed to have been committed by an employee. The detective bureau is reviewing the matter with the store’s management.

11:19 AM – A Ridgewood man reported that he had lost his wallet while at Bottle King on Prospect Street on the evening of November 7th, possibly in the parking lot. Upon notifying his credit card companies the man was informed that several unauthorized purchases had been made. A complete list of the charges is being provided to the detective bureau for further investigation.

2:37 AM – P.O. John Tarantino responded to a 9-1-1 report of an erratic driver operating northbound on Route 208. With the assistance of the caller, he subsequently located the vehicle in question and arrested the driver, a 27-year-old Wyckoff woman, for DWI.
She was transported to Police HQ where she was processed and charged with DWI. She was also issued summonses for reckless driving and unsafe lane change.
The driver was released to the custody of a sober adult and her vehicle was impounded in accordance with the provision of John’s Law.
