6:11 PM – Patrols were dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the Central Business District. Upon arrival they found two highly intoxicated adults, a 60-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman both of Ho Ho Kus, in the area yelling and screaming. Both were issued summonses for possession of open alcoholic containers on a public street and were dispersed from the area via public transportation.

7:19 PM – Patrols were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Midwood Road to investigate a report of a disoriented man who appeared to need assistance knocking at the resident’s door. Patrols subsequently located the subject, 47-year-old Glen Rock man, who was in a highly intoxicated state. The man was transported to the home of a family member who agreed to take care of him.

9:36 AM – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Elmwood Avenue to locate a Glen Rock woman who had eloped from Valley Hospital while in need of emergent medical care. Upon locating the subject, a 53-year-old Glen Rock woman, it was also learned that she was wanted by the Fort Lee Police Department on robbery charges.
The woman was transported to Valley Hospital to ensure that her medical needs were attended to. The Fort Lee Police Department was notified of her location and responded to the hospital.

10:42 AM – While assisting on the 200 block of Elmwood Avenue P.O. T.J. Graziani located a 24-year-old Paterson woman who was wanted on an active criminal warrant issued by the Elizabeth Municipal Court. The woman was unable to post bail and the Elizabeth Police Department did not have available personnel to take her into custody. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.

8:35 PM – A 53-year-old Glen Rock woman, currently in the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department on robbery charges out of Fort Lee, reported that she believed that her ex-husband had taken her vehicle without her consent. According to the woman’s report the vehicle, a 2012 Mazda, took the vehicle at an unknown date and time without her permission. The subject is believed to have a key to the vehicle. The ex-husband who has active warrants for his arrest is currently being sought by law enforcement.

12:42 AM – P.O. Jim Donnelly was assisting a work crew from the Department of Transportation on Route 208 South at Harristown Road when a DOT work truck was struck by a passing motorist who failed to move right or slow to below the speed limit as required by law. The collision resulted in non-life-threatening injuries and all involved refused medical aid. Both the DOT truck and the motorist’s vehicle were totaled. The highway was closed while Fair Lawn Police conducted the investigation. Ridgewood Police also assisted at the scene.

7:04 PM – Patrols, along with EMS personnel, were dispatched to a three-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Rock Road. One of the vehicles left the travel portion of the roadway and landed on the front lawn of a residence on the 500 block of Rock Road. Two people were transported to Valley Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Images can be found here
According to a witness, who provided video footage from his personal in-dash camera, the accident was caused when a 2013 VW S60 drove through a red light and collided with a second vehicle causing that vehicle to strike a third vehicle.
The driver of VW, a 43-year-old Glen Rock man, was issued summonses for failure to observe a traffic control device and careless driving. The accident was investigated by P.O. Jim Donnelley who was assisted by Lt. Chris Mc Inerney and Sgt. Greg Carter.
