Glen Rock FD and Hawthorne FD personnel rushed to Glen Rock PD headquarters, 1 Harding Plaza, Glen Rock on Thursday afternoon, 10/11, in response to a possible chemical spill within the building.
Firefighters dressed in protective gear entered the building and removed at least two (2) containers of an unknown substance(s) found in a mechanical room. Glen Rock PD Lieutenant Frank Riggio stated that there were no injuries reported in the incident. He also said that it appeared as if one or more of the containers found by firefighters may have been leaking, causing the odor which triggered a phone call for FD assistance.
