 Glen Rock Police Blotter September 3rd – 9th 2018



5:26 PM – During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Route 208 North, P.O. Sarah Orsita determined that both occupants of the vehicle were wanted on outstanding warrants.  

The driver, a 46-year-old Port Jervis, NY man, had an active NCIC warrant issued by the Superior Court in Ocean County for failure to answer to criminal charges.  He was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.

The passenger, a 55-year-old New York City man, had an active warrant issued by the Palisades Interstate Parkway Municipal Court.  He was released after posting $111 bail.     


3:02 PM – A Somerset Court resident reported the theft of a bicycle from his garage.  The bicycle had been taken at an unknown time over a five-day period while the garage door was in the open position.             


3:40 PM – An 87-year-old Fair Lawn woman reported that she had left a Movado watch on consignment at a store in Rock Road Central Business District.  When she returned to claim the watch, she found the store in question had reportedly changed owners over the last few weeks.  The store she identified to officers had not recently changed ownership and had no record of dealing with the complainant. Detectives are currently reviewing the matter in an effort to determine which establishment the woman may have been dealing with.
