Glen Rock News Today is introducing a new column, which will focus on local people and businesses. This edition features a conversation with Ruth Weitzman, a five-star, award-winning, RE/MAX realtor.
Ruth Weitzman has lived in Glen Rock for nearly 50 years and has been a realtor for 41 of those years. Ruth is featured in the March edition of Bergen Magazine, which recently selected her as one of the best realtors in the county. She receives many letters of accolades from clients who praise her thoroughness, professionalism, and putting the customer before her own personal needs.
THE BEGINNING
After Ruth’s children were grown, she went back to work and, at the suggestion of her husband, became a realtor. In fact, her husband and two children all have real estate licenses.

Ruth began her career as a dental hygienist. It was this employer who urged her to move to Glen Rock.
