4:03 PM – During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Route 208 South, P.O. Will Holguin arrested a 32-year-old Ridgewood woman for possession of cocaine and possession of hypodermic syringes. The woman was transported to police HQ where she was processed and released on her own recognizance pending an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack on March 2nd. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to signal and possession of narcotics while operating a motor vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle, a 28-year-old Dumont woman, was issued a summons for failure to wear a seatbelt.

7:18 PM – A Glen Rock resident reported discovering $ 8,513.88 worth of unauthorized charges on his credit card. The man provided documentation concerning the charges and the detective bureau is investigating with the cooperation of an out of state merchant.
02-21-2018
7:13 AM – Patrols were dispatched to a reported physical altercation in progress between staff members at the Spectrum for Living Group on located on Highwood Avenue. While patrols were responding the employees alleged to be involved fled the area, but were located by responding officers. Investigation determined that a 34-year-old Paterson woman had become involved in a dispute with a 23-year-old Paterson woman while working inside the group home. The dispute became physical and was subsequently broken up by other staff members on scene. Both woman gave conflicting accounts of what had occurred.
Neither employee required medical assistance nor did they desire to sign complaints at the time of the report. Both were advised of their right to do so at a later date. Management of the facility was notified and will follow up on the matter internally. The involved employees left the area without further incident.

4:56 PM – A Glen Rock resident reported he had advertised a generator for sale on Craigslist and subsequently received an inquiry from an alleged buyer who claimed to be from Texas. The buyer offered to pay $1,850 for the $800 generator with the understanding that the seller would cash the check and provide $ 1,000 to an unknown individual who would be picking up the generator for transport to Texas. The seller was also suspicious that the buyer had called him from four different phone numbers with three different area codes. At the time of the report no transaction had yet occurred and the resident was advised that this was most likely a scam which should be avoided.

3:47 PM – A Glen Rock resident reported that her husband mailed a check to the Borough of Glen Rock in the amount of $3,940.76. The check was never received by the Borough but was cashed by an unknown party. She was not sure where the check had been mailed from. The Detective Bureau is currently reviewing the matter.

10:35 PM – The owner of a Rock Road establishment reported that a disorderly patron had become physically abusive of one of his employees and made threats towards the staff when asked to leave. Both the actor and the victim employee had left prior to police being notified. Detectives are following up on the matter.

12:34 AM – During the course of a motor vehicle stop in the area of De Boer Drive, P.O. John Tarantino arrested a 20-year-old Mesquite, Texas man for driving while under the influence of Marijuana. During the course of the arrest the driver was also found to be in possession of a folding gravity knife, Marijuana and drug paraphrenia in the form of a Marijuana pipe. The man was transported to Police HQ where he was processed and charged with driving under the Influence, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphrenia. The actor’s vehicle was impounded and he was released into the custody of a sober adult pending an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack on March 9th.
