After a slow start to the season, the Glen Rock High School Boys Basketball team stabilized somewhat over the holidays, winning its first two games of the season to capture the Ridgefield Memorial Holiday Tournament over Christmas break.
The Panthers started the season 0-4, but beat Ridgefield Memorial and Midland Park to capture the tournament. Their game against Garfield last Thursday and fell to Northern Valley-Demarest on Saturday to leave them at 2-5 on the season (0-3 in the NJIC). The boys are back in action today on the road at division rival Elmwood Park, which is 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in the NJIC Colonial Division. Tipoff is 7 p.m. On Thursday, the team returns home for a game against division rival Lodi (3-2, 1-1).
