The Glen Rock police and the volunteer ambulance corps. took two Glen Rock High School students from the school Tuesday to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood because of what they said was a medical emergency.
The boys, ages 14 and 15, are suspected to have suffered some kind of drug reaction, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The source said the boys, one a freshman and one a sophomore, had been “vaping” marijuana.
Police arrived at the school at 12:29, responding to a 911 call. The administration then placed Glen Rock High School in a Shelter in place. A shelter in place with the Glen Rock PD involved also occurred in October. Read more here
All normal activity resumed at the school shortly thereafter. Due to healthcare privacy issues, no further information is available to the public.
