4:56 PM – An Oaklynn Place resident reported fraudulent activity on her TD Bank account. The resident noticed a total of $279.24 worth of unauthorized charges on the account. The detective bureau is investigating.

5:18 AM – P.O. Tarantino was dispatched to Serafin Place to assist the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department. The Sheriff’s Department had attempted to stop a motor vehicle that fled after nearly striking an officer in Paterson. The vehicle ultimately crashed onto a lawn at the dead end of Serafin. The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department and is facing charges including aggravated assault on a police officer, eluding, unlawful taking of a means of conveyance and multiple motor vehicle violations.

12:57 AM – P.O. Graziani responded to the parking lot of Jet Wash and Dry on Lincoln Ave on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle owner, a resident of Haledon, reported that she parked her GMC Sierra in the parking lot prior to entering the laundromat. A short time later, she realized that the truck was missing from the parking lot. The vehicle was unlocked at the time with the keys inside of the truck. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle in NCIC and the detective bureau is investigating.

2:01 AM – Pursuant to a motor vehicle stop, P.O. Tarantino arrested a 30-year-old Midland Park woman for driving while intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued several motor vehicle summonses with a court date in the Glen Rock Municipal Court. She was released to the custody of a family member.

11:10 AM – A Fair Lawn resident reported a theft of property from his vehicle while it was parked on Doremus Ave on November 22, 2017. The victim stated that he parked his car around 7:00 PM on Doremus Ave. When he returned to it a short time later, he noticed that his wallet was missing. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft. The detective bureau is investigating.
