Why I’m Voting for the Glen Rock A Team on November 7

342

While many of us might be disenchanted with the state of politics in our country today, now is not the time to do nothing. We are fortunate enough to have the privilege to vote. And, having spent time working on Capitol Hill, I can say with great certainty that progress begins at the local level. In the spirit of that truth, I’ll be voting Democratic in this election for Dr. Arati Kreibich and Amy Martin.

Why, you ask? In short, they represent the democratic values in which I believe. A little over a month ago, I wrote a letter to the Glen Rock Gazette about the importance of speaking up against prejudice. Less than 24 hours after the article was published, Arati reached out to me and thanked me for speaking up. As a fellow Boston University graduate, we instantly connected and I volunteered to play a part on the A team. It’s clear to all who know them that Amy and Arati share a passion about the people of Glen Rock.  They inspire me as candidates but also as individuals. They are well educated and eminently well qualified, with both work experience at nonprofits and in local government.

They are the changemakers Glen Rock needs to address the pressing issues that face many Bergen County communities like ours.  It’s time to vote Democratic:  that means voting for THE GLEN ROCK A TEAM: Amy Martin and Dr. Arati Kreibich. Here’s hoping to see you on Election Day.
