On Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the GR Arboretum need your help with their seasonal Weed Warrior Day stewardship project. Can’t tell one weed from another? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Learn from the experts! Our local, knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to share their wisdom about invasive plants, some of which may be homesteading on your own property.
No experience is necessary. Wear boots and dress according to the temperature. Bring gloves, kneelers, pruners and drinking water. We will have extras on site if you don’t have them.
Bring your family and friends. Get outdoors and enjoy nature. The Arboretum is public land. It belongs to all of you! Come help take care of it for your enjoyment and for future generations. Spend as little or as much time as you can with us.
In the event of rain, our rain date is Saturday, October 14th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
