Before all the fireworks of the Council meeting Wednesday evening, there were many kids honored for their accomplishments with the Glen Rock Friends of the Library readathon and the Girl Scout Gold Award winners .
The Girl Scout Gold Award winners all received a street sign that will be hung up on their streets on the day that the town is named after them, normally their birthday.
382 children participated in this annual event. Those children raised $7500.00 by reading 9,276 hours. Congratulations to all the winners listed below.
