Glen Rock FD responded to a structure fire at 60 West Main Street, Glen Rock on Saturday evening, 04/15.
First arriving Glen Rock PD units reported via radio smoke emanating from the structure, but no visible fire. Shortly thereafter, a Glen Rock PD officer advised that the fire had been extinguished by the homeowner, however a heavy smoke condition remained throughout the home.
Glen Rock EMS was dispatched to evaluate an adult male occupant of the home who complained of symptoms related to smoke inhalation; the victim refused to be transported to a local hospital.
The female occupant of the home was placed under arrest in connection with some sort of narcotics charge. Per Chief Dean Ackermann, The matter currently remains under investigation.
Hawthorne FD Company #4 was also requested to the scene as a precaution.
