A candlelight vigil, to acknowledge the death last week of an Indian man in an apparently racially-motivated shooting in Kansas, will be held this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Glen Rock Borough Hall, mayor Bruce Packer announced.
Packer and Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir Grewal will be among the guest speakers at the vigil, speaking on the murder of Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was shot last Wednesday in a bar in Olathe, Kansas, allegedly by a man who had approached him earlier in the evening, as well as other acts of intolerance occurring around the country.
