Thanksgiving this year started with a way to burn calories and get ready for the mounds of turkey, cranberries, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. The 1st annual GR Thanksgiving Day 5k run took place this am with 785 adults and 128 kids running.
We had a celebrity runner amongst us this am. His name is Patrick Miller Perth Amboy NJ. Running is his passion and he has completed several marathons. Including the Philadelphia Marathon just a couple of weeks ago!
In addition to kids and adults, there were several turkeys running also. We might assume that they were trying to run
away from their fate that coming evening.
