Community Meals, Inc is a private non-profit service organization that delivers meals to the homebound Monday though Friday, This year they are celebrating their 45th year in service while hosting their 14th annual March for Meals Campaign to help raise awareness of senior hunger and isolation. Their Mission is:
We are a private non-profit “Meals-on-Wheels” organization that provides meals to those who are unable to shop or cook for themselves due to age or disability.
Every year during their March for Meals campaign, Community Meals hosts a local Mayors Day. This day, several local mayors help pack and deliver meals to the Community Meals clients. This year Mayors Day included Mayor Bruce Packer, Glen Rock; Mayor Paul Aronsohn, Ridgewood & Mayor Tom Giordano, Waldwick.
