Homecoming 2014

What a marvelous day we had for the 2014 GR Homecoming. The weather could not have been more perfect for a parade of the band, cheerleaders and floats down Rock Road to the HS. The day’s activities included an open house for Coleman school celebrating their 60th birthday, GRHS Grand Reunion, Kids Halloween parade through downtown with trick or treating after, GRHS alumni soccer game, and of course the HS homecoming parade and football game.

As far as the actual game, it was stop and go to begin. Glen Rock scored 1st on a touchdown and made the extra point to make it 7-0 GR then made it 14-0 after Harrison punted the ball back to the Panthers. In the second quarter, it started to look like a blowout game as Glen Rock went up 28-0. However, Harrison did score twice, but in the end Glen Rock won, 42-14.
